Sometimes you win, sometimes you learn.
If at first you don't succeed, try, try again!
this year flew by, let's finish strong.
- Grades
Students are graded by evaluations considering effort, attitude, and the respectful treatment of others.
Students will continually learn what good sportsmanship means. All students are evaluated on an individual basis and have legitimate opportunities to earn an "A" grade. All students must have a note from a parent or doctor to be excused from PE due to an injury or other reason. Thank you!
K-4th Grade
Excellent: Student shows skills and understanding of the unit, good effort, attitude, respect and sportsmanship.
Satisfactory: Student struggles but puts forth effort with a respectable attitude.
Needs improvement: Student struggles with physical performance expectations and or attitude.
Unsatisfactory: Student’s attitude is unacceptable. Physical performance is irrelevant.
5th- 8th Grade
P.E. Uniforms are required for P.E. See the office to order any additional uniforms. I recommend having 2 pairs.
Everyone starts with 100 points per Quarter.
You are expected each P.E. class to:
Participate to the best of your ability, show good sportsmanship with a positive attitude (no "put downs")
You must be on time to class with a proper P.E. uniform (shirt, shorts, & tennis shoes).
* -5 points for each offense
